HSHS St. Vincent Hospital Cancer Centers Makes “100 Hospitals and Health Systems with Great Oncology Programs” List for Third Straight Year

Green Bay – HSHS St. Vincent Hospital Cancer Centers is honored to be recognized by Becker’s Hospital Review as one of 100 Hospitals and Health Systems with Great Oncology Programs, a list featuring hospitals and health systems leading the nation in cancer care.

This is the third consecutive year HSHS St. Vincent Hospital Cancer Centers has received this recognition. The hospitals included on the 100 Hospitals and Health Systems with Great Oncology Programs list offer patients comprehensive cancer care involving teams of specialists, participation in clinical trials and personalized treatment programs. Many organizations on this list are driving forces in the fight to end cancer as we know it.

“HSHS St. Vincent Hospital Cancer Centers offers the best expertise in a wide array of specialty areas, compassionately treating a variety of cancers with technology and services on par with nationally acclaimed cancer centers in the United States,” said Therese Pandl, President and CEO, HSHS-Eastern Wisconsin Division.
“We are proud of the impact we are making here in our area to fight cancer, and we will continue to make it our mission to provide health, healing and hope to Northeast Wisconsin.”

HSHS St. Vincent Hospital Cancer Centers provides state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment technologies and a comprehensive survivorship program that is helping survivors get back on their feet physically, emotionally and spiritually following their treatments. It has worked directly with the National Cancer Institute for over a decade to provide patients in this region access to the newest, leading-edge cancer clinical trials, drugs and prevention studies.

Becker’s Hospital Review selected hospitals for this inclusion based on recognitions received and accreditations earned.  Becker’s also examined U.S. News & World Report cancer care rankings, CareChex cancer care rankings, Blue Cross Blue Shield Association Distinction Center designation and designations from the National Cancer Institute while compiling this list.
